What is the perfect ratio?

Saw this great ad for Target. What is the perfect ratio for Peanut Butter and Jelly? Great question. I prefer cruchy peanut butter and if I need a good dose of comfort food I crumbled up Ruffles potaote chips for an added kit of salt and crunch.
Just thinking.. how can I incorporate PB&J into the moda bake shop?

  1. Zap your PB in the microwave for 40 seconds, add a splash of tap water…stir like crazy. It makes your PB warm, fluffy, and very spreadable. Add a little more water and you have a great dip for apples. Can you tell I have 3 small kids???

Im thinking a paperpieced PB&J sandwich and glass of milk mug rug and matching mug cozy using may Moda Lollipo. I know the obvious answer is to use a jellyroll…but really I love the flexibility of charm squares on such a small project!

Very funny. As an Australian, I aways wanted to know what 'Jelly' was. To us its the wobbly stuff for dessert. We make Peanut Butter and Jam sandwiches. For the project make up some red ruffles and sandwich them between two rectangles or something like that!

PB & J is a classic, but everyone has a different way of eating it. (I prefer PB and honey myself.) Maybe some sort of classic sampler quilt with different interpretations of the same block style.

Varying levels of lavenders to purple swirled with with different shades of brown and white. It has all the variations of PB&J. Just like you swirl it on bread. On another you could have characters like birds, fish, cows. But I really like the swirls! Put it on a layer cake like layers of bread. I can see the whole thing in my head. Wow, I could have my own fabric line. Just kidding. Hope it inspires you.

Moda needs a solid medium brown neutral called Peanut Butter. Then you could sew a quilt with Peanut Butter and a Jelly Roll. Maybe some sort of sandwich configuration to the pattern.

I think you're a little bit crazy for putting chips in a sandwich, but a good kind of crazy.
