SO I GOT TO THINKING!

On Pinterest I saw this picture from greylustergirl.blogspot.com. She basically framed her thread rack.

I have always dreamed of a wall of pictures like this but that got me to thinking, what about a wall of mini quilts? How fun would that be? I guess this would cost a bit more than new wallpaper but it wouldn’t be near as fun as making a wall of Minis!

And then as the wall of minis grows, it could be a hallway of minis with studio lighting.

How great would that be?

Konda is kind enough to have offered a book for the giveaway. So leave a comment about what you could do with mini quilts and I will draw a winner at random on the 31st.
Today hop on over to Emily’s blog to read more.
Each day visit these talented designers, bloggers, quilters, etc to read more about Konda’s book.

I think a wall of mini quilts is a wonderful idea…maybe as your walking up the staircase. A new one revealed with each step! Thanks for the giveaway!

my collection of minis, many from swaps, are taking over my sewing room! I am thinking of hanging them around the top of the walls near the ceiling, like a wallpaper border…. looks like a great book!

I have several minis that I have all along the top of the wall in my sewing room. I would like to have some that I can switch out in my living dining area.

I have one hallway that has only one picture hanging on it. A wall of minis (I have six already) is a great idea! Must start painting that wall….:) Thanks for the giveaway!

I am really getting into making mini quilts and I am now making them to hang on my table top hanger. It will be fun to change them out.
thanks for a chance to win the book.

I am thinking about a little girl's room. All done up in pink, of course. I would use mini quilts in frames on one side of the rooms and then a wall made up of dolls. Just an idea. Thanks for the mini quilt review and a chance to win such a fantastic book.

I've been making quite a few mini quilts this year and am looking forward to having a wall of minis in my home. 🙂

I'd really love to win this book. Thank you for the giveaway.

We have a standalone pantry (I plan to be buried in it, I love it so) in our kitchen; it would be so fun to hang them on the side walls or even the doors to make it a decorative element in addition to being a killer functional one.

My mother and I have been thinking the same thing. We both love making minis, and since we live together, we are building quite a collection. A wall of minis! Fabulous! Thanks so much for the giveaway opportunity.

I love making minis – I'm a weekend quilter so minis are perfect, I get to finish something in a weekend! I would love a wall of minis at the cottage – I have the perfect wall for it too!

I just repainted my livingroom, and took everything off the walls, now wouldn't it look so much better with a wall full of mini quilts! I'm sure it would sound much better too, less echoing.

  12. Sherry says:

I've already planned to make a wall of mini quilts in my spare room. I've participated in many mini/small quilt swaps over the years and thought it would be fun to put them all up so I could enjoy them.

I love the wall of mini quilts idea! They are great table toppers and I like draping them over my mantle. I've never tried it, but they could make cute valances too!
