you will find a project to wet your quilting appetite.

SO I GOT TO THINKING!

On Pinterest I saw this picture from greylustergirl.blogspot.com. She basically framed her thread rack.

I have always dreamed of a wall of pictures like this but that got me to thinking, what about a wall of mini quilts? How fun would that be? I guess this would cost a bit more than new wallpaper but it wouldn’t be near as fun as making a wall of Minis!

And then as the wall of minis grows, it could be a hallway of minis with studio lighting.

How great would that be?

Konda is kind enough to have offered a book for the giveaway. So leave a comment about what you could do with mini quilts and I will draw a winner at random on the 31st.
Today hop on over to Emily’s blog to read more.
Each day visit these talented designers, bloggers, quilters, etc to read more about Konda’s book.

I'd love mini quilts! I think I would actually get them done! I don't have much wall space so mini quilts would be great at my house! Would love to win the book-excited to join the blog hop and see the projects!! Mini quilts would also be great for my 2 little granddaughters for their dolls!

I love mini's…… I would just move them all around my house, all the time, everywhere. On the wall, on my table, in my entry, on top if the dryer, anywhere! !!!!

  3. Oh my gosh, Mugrugs, table toppers, wall hangings…the possibilities are endless! Like Mary at Quilt Hollow said "you can NEVER have enough mini quilts!!!" I wholeheartedly agree, :o) Thanks Lissa for a chance to win this book and Good Luck to Everyone!!! Hugs…

My children have pet guinea pigs…..
But I think that they would be good to cover up the holes in the plaster on the walls. After all no-one would look behind a quilt, they would be too busy admiring the beauty on the front.

I have a wall with a mini quilt on it right now. My plan is to switch the quilt periodically so this book would be a great help for that.

  6. Mini quilts are lovely to give away, to put on a small table, to hang somewhere in a room for a while etc etc.
And the fun part about minis: there's a big chance to finish them (o:
Such lovely names for the quilts.

  7. I agree with others. I would put them in frames and up on the wall they would go. I have made a mug rug but not a mini quilt. I'm still a confident beginner, but will sure give it a try. Thank you.

I don't know why, but I have never made a mini quilt! Insane! I love the idea of mini quilts (quick finish!) and a mini quilt wall is a wonderful idea. I think I would hang some in the nursery and some in the playroom as well as my sewing area. Thanks for the giveaway!

We recently tore off the wallpaper and painted the hallway in our house and I had been thinking I would do the same thing – make a wall of mini quilts. I just haven't had time to do it yet as we have been working on other rooms since then. Thanks for a chance to win!

Hello Lissa, thank you for the opportunity to win this lovely book. I did so enjoy your blog, I'm a first time visitor so now I've subscribed. I liked the idea of framing your thread spools, looks really neat and tidy. The wall of mini quilts is a great idea, it would be fun to try new techniques and learn new blocks. I'm relatively new to quilting so at the moment very keen to learn and try out new things. Kind Regards Mandy Currie (mandycurrie@googlemail.com)

I love the minis! I would use it to make minis for my kid's bedroom walls, bathrooms, kitchen, any small space to brighten it up 🙂 Thanks for the chance!

I have a twin size quilt hanging in my hall (it's an area where no one walks) that is open to the cathedral ceiling of our living room. Instead of the one large quilt, I think it would be great to have a grouping of mini quilts. With a few seasonal quilts added in that could be swapped out at various times during the year.

  13. Dolores says:

I love making minis and I love giving them away too. My son has hung his up on the wall and I decorate various bedrooms with them. Thanks for the chance to win this wonderful book.

Currently I have a couple of mini quilt table toppers. I have a couple that I would like to make and use as wall hangings. I have Big Block Quilts by Konda Luckau and absolutely love it. Simple but very rewarding quilts.

  15. I love miniature quilts–I make an orange one every year to enter into the local Kumquat Quilt Challenge. I still mourn the end of the Miniature Quilts magazine. I'd love to decorate a wall in my sewing room with miniatures.
