2 FOR Tuesday

The giveaway is closed and the winner has been notified.
Remember how I told you my pics would not be the greatest.
This first pic does look like a wad of sausages still in their plastic casings.
Gross, right?
The bag is full of shirting scraps from Primitive Gatherings collection,
Floral Gatherings Shirtings which is due in stores Nov.
I had the honor of working on this collection early for a
future magazine project. (Quilts-n-More- Spring 2014 issue)
So of course I had some scraps left and you can have them before
this collection even appears in the store.
This bag is full of assorted charm squares plus a few other pieces.
Now I really don’t intend for these two giveaways to work together.
Consider it a smorgasbord of scraps or sausages.
You know the drill, leave a comment and I
will post the winner tomorrow morning 6:00 am.
The winner from Monday’s giveaway is:
jmniffer has left a new comment on your post “Scrap builder paradise“:

The fabrics in those two bags look great!! Oh how much fun it would be to make a great spring scrappy quilt with the cream background! I would love to make something fun. I just returned from burying my little brother, and it has been rough. I raised him and made him a quilt for his last 3 months. He loved it. Now I am ready to keep on living and want to do a Spring quilt that will help me go on…I think I will give it to his young wife!

I use all ( ok most) of my scraps up right after i finish a quilt-i sew the tiny half square triangles into a mini block, or I randomly put them together and tell myself that i'm being sooooo creative–all these blocks are al over the walls in my sewing area (pinned into drywall) –I tell all my friends that i'm going to put them all together some day and call it "left overs".

I'd love to add your scraps to my wall!!

    Thanks for the chance.

Oh I have a few scrappy quilts on my list to do and some to finish up! Sew I would be happy to have more scraps to work with and bonus some that aren't even out in the stores yet! Yeah! Thanks for a wonderful chance!

At least half on my quilts are scrappy but I don't seem to make much of a dent in my scrap piles! But that's ok because I love to see pieces of loved fabric show up in other quilts, they take me down memory lane as I sew them into something new. It has been fun to see your letting gos. Thanks.

Wow! Better late than never. I love the floral gatherings shirting fabric. Oh the fun I would have piecing a quilt with that. I have a pattern in mind already. The fabric from the charm packs would be an added bonus. I better go to bed so I can get up early and see who won!
