9-11 fabric giveaway

The giveaway is closed and the winner has been notified.
This one is a tough one to give away,
but
I thought what better day than 9-11
 to post these
classic reds and blues as the giveaway.
Just in case you are just joining me,
read the full info of the giveaway here.
When I was bundling fabrics for this month long giveaway,
I grabbed this stack and tied a string around it.
Done!
Last night I thought those fabrics don’t really
look like that great of a giveaway.
How sick is that?
That I want each of the giveaways to be
impressive. Something you will really want !
So I opened these up to take a picture.
To my surprise, each of the 14 pieces is 3/4 to 1 yd.
Awesome!
When it comes to fabric lines,
especially Moda fabric I have a
pretty good memory on what designer did what.
This one threw me for a loop?
Do you know who did this?
KANSAS TROUBLES
What was the fabric line?

SIMPLY INDIGO
Impressive, right?
I am the biggest red white and blue fan out there.
I love sharing this fabric with you, so
Follow my blog
and
tomorrow morning, 6:00 AM central time I will post the winner.

Our guild makes a lot of quilts for the returning wounded soldiers. These fabrics would make a great addition to my patriotic collection for this cause. Thanks for parting with these.

I have a friend who came to the rescue last minute recently and helped in a huge way. She's deserving a thank you quilt. While these colors aren't fabrics I'm normally drawn to, they would go with her living room decor quite nicely.

Congrats to Kelly! My guild makes lots of QOV quilts and it's so great to make quilts for such a wonderful cause. Our Eastern MO QOV unit just made a big presentation to a returning MO unit this past weekend.

I absolutely LOVED this fabric line. I made 2 quilts with just the blue prints. Would love this group especially for patriotic quilts for Quilts of Valor. Many thanks! Never forget…9.11.01

  5. We have 3 kids in the service: 2 sons in the Army and a granddaughter in the Marines. I made a patriotic quilt for our granddaughter's graduation from Marine Recruit Training, and I am in the process of gathering fabrics and ideas for similar quilts for our sons.

I love red/white/and blue. I am currently working on some block for Quilt of valor block bust through Alyciaquilts blog. I was an Air Force kid and love anything patriotic.

These are beautiful. I adore patriotic colors. 25 years ago, my wedding colors were navy and white and so was the decorating in our first little nest. I adore them. Ad so fitting for today. Thank you for the chance.

My stash could definitely use some help in the red and dark blue color areas! I've been wanting to make a queen-size star quilt; these fabrics would be gorgeous with some neutrals!

I think it is very kind of you that you want to make each giveaway impressive! I love patriotic as well and have made and donated several Quilts of Valor. Thank you for the chance!

I recently visited the Memorial at the Pentagon. We got there just a twilight. It was a somber, sobering experience. I am truly proud of my country and the good people in it.

Today's giveaway is wonderful. My quilt group is working on some Quilts of Valor quilts, and these would be perfect for that. I want to make one for my nephew who served several times in Afghanistan and Iraq. Thanks for a chance!

  12. yesterday I was listening to an audiobook and they were talking about Quilts of Valor. I'd heard of the organization before, so I googled it and decided I'm going to make a quilt to donate in the near future. How perfect would these fabrics be!?!

  13. Love patriotic colors… My family reunion is done in patriotic theme every year. My family has a patriotic Christmas tree each year. Prayers for all the family and friends who lost loved ones..
