I am obsessed about everything Farmhouse. ( thank you Joanna Gaines)
Love the fresh look.
Love the timeless style.
Love the classic simplicity.
I have hunted for vintage grain sacks/ toweling and paid big bucks for it. When Moda started making toweling many years ago it became a basic but people still asked what do I do with it? Moda’s toweling is available by the yard, hemmed on 2 sides and assorted designs
and fabric weights.
In steps Jenelle Kent, taking toweling to a whole new level as shown in her new book, Farmhouse Fresh.
Adding appliqué is just one way to bling your toweling.
There is nothing more classic than making pillows from the toweling. The variety of fabric weights make substantial pillows. Adding buttons, ties and even embroidered panels take the projects to the next level.
The toweling is generally 100% cotton so it is great to combine with your fabric quilting fabrics.
I love this blue stripe and the tech organizer.
I desperately need to make a sewing machine cover and this one is calling my name!
Are you intrigued? There are more projects but I wanted to share that due to the popularity of toweling, Jenelle has designed a few fabric towelings that are 60″ wide. Duvet covers, quilt backs, home dec and so much more, but more on that later.
Farmhouse Fresh has 11 different projects and includes the embroidery stitches for everything. Any of these would make perfect birthday or hostess gifts for that special person on your list.
I have a book compliments of Martingale Publishing and I am going to
add a 3 yd chunk of toweling to sweeten the deal.
Leave a comment and tell me which project is your favorite.
GIVEAWAY CLOSED.

So many sweet projects; I think I’ll start with pillows!
wow. who knew towelling could look so beautiful. my favourite is the sewing machine cover and I need one badly, yet it seems to be always last on the list. but saying that every project is a winner. how I would love to have this book. thanks you much for the generous offer.
I love the sewing machine cover. I also love the pot holder. Thank you for making me aware of this book.
I love this book and all the great projects! I can’t wait to see the other things you plan to share, like the duvet cover and other home decor projects! Love the embroidery on the pillow and I really like the tech bag,
The tech organizer!
Love the wrap around oven mitt! I would make that first. I have seen the toweling in stores but didn’t know what to use it for.
What great projects, I would love to make the sewing machine cover.
Love the pillows. They just say “farmhouse”.
I love the runner with the applique. Many years ago I used to make teddy bears out of kitchen towels like that. They were so cuddly!
The Tech Organizer caught my attention because I can also see how useful it would be as a sewing organizer. Thank you for the review of this new book.
I love the pillow with the ties, but also the potholder. Great ideas.
I love the storage boxes and need to make some for my new kitchen.
I would make pillows first but I’m intrigued by the idea of a duvet cover made from toweling. I just might NEED to make one of those if I can find the 60” wide toweling.
I like those three bins in the last picture, that caught my eye on Instagram and I came over to read more. I need to make goodies for our quilt show boutique and I think those would sell like hotcakes! Thanks for the chance to win!
I really like the sewing machine cover. My machines are in great need of covers!
I love the farmhouse style and would love to make several projects in this book … but I think I would start with the pillows, they are simple but unique and definitely caught my eye!
I love the wreath pillow! I’ve never seen black on black toweling before!
Loving the Pillows!
I love this book! I asked my local quilt shop to bring it in. If I have to pick a favorite…..I guess it would be the storage bins, but truly I love all of the projects!
How wonderful those little baskets are!!!
I love those pillows on the bench! I could see making those not only for myself, but as gifts. Thank you for sharing!
The appliqued table runner is gorgeous but not in the style of my home; I really like the tech organizer too, it would be so useful.
lobe them all but especially the double potholder
All the projects are so cute, but my need is for a sewing machine cover. I love the red and white cover you pictured.
OMG, I didn’t know Moda had toweling BYT! I love these projects and the look using towels. A whole new avenue of of Squirrel Moment ideas for the “To Do” list!
You are too funny!
I think I like the tech bag best, because it has everything contained in one spot—nothing to lose on the plane! I have looked at toweling several times, but this gives me some great ideas. I would love a copy of the book! Thanks, Jill in Calgary/Phoenix
I absolutely adore the pillows! They are fabulous and so classic!
How do you pick just one? All of the projects are great! I love the tech case and pillows. All are beautiful
I need to make the sewing machine cover as I currently use a dish towel!
My favorite project is the sewing machine cover…… definitely need one!! I also like the simple pillow with embroidery. So cute!! So many great projects!! =:)
I really love the machine cover so much!
Hi, really like the Machine Cover + those Pot Holders; love to make some similar !!!
Thanks for a neat Giveaway !!!
The baskets look really handy and cute!
I love the appliqued table runner and apron.
There are so many appealing projects in this book that it’s difficult to choose one. I think the sewing machine cover would be the first one I would try. Thanks for bringing attention to this book.
love love this book! i would start with the sewing machine cover but want to make all the projects in this book!
I would try the organizer as the first one to try.
I love the cute sewing machine cover!
All the projects are nice. My favorite is the table runner.
I love the oven mitt and tea towel. However there is a photo there of some kind of book cover or like a large needle case that has me intrigued and wanting to make one for keeping epp projects in. And turning the machine cover into a cover for my overlocker instead as the one I made years ago is very tired now. So many choices!
It’s SO difficult to decide what my favorite project i this book is! I would have to chose the trio of storage buckets. They would come in handy in my sewing room!
I’m a sucker for drawstring bags! What a fun cute book!
So many great projects! I love the tech organizer and the sewing machine cover!
I love the machine cover. Very nice.
The sewing machine cover is my favourite and is certainly something I really need to make as I am still using the boring plastic cover that mine came with.
I love toweling! The pillows are my favorite but I think I want to make them all.
Absolutely love the sewing machine cover. My little Featherweight would love it! Lots of fun projects!
I love the pillows, the baskets, and really all of them. Don’t make me choose a favorite!
I love the Moda toweling….it’s a tie between the pillows and the baskets for my favorites; but I do love them all ! Thanks for sharing…..
Ooh, I think I like the drawstring bag the most! What fun they all are though!!
