Well the winner is in at Thimbleblossoms! Go to http://www.camilleroskelley.typepad.com/ to read all about it. My news is that I told Camille pick 2 winners and I would make a quilt for the second place. She kept asking me did I want to pick. I said , No silly girl, you choose. After looking at all the work she did to determine the winner I hate to say but I have it easy.
But Camille did pick someone that commented on my blog so I am posting Wendy as the winner- runner -up. Is there such a thing ? Is that like a participation trophy?
Wendy, do you want a W on the quilt instead of an M for moda?
I am honored to be making the following quilt for Wendy!
See comments below on Camille’s blog
“Hi! I’m from Utah, but I’ve been transplanted to Massachusetts. I love New England, but boy do I miss the mountains! I love love love your Wallflower pattern, and I would count myself extremely lucky to have a Camille original!!!! I can’t think of a strange compliment I’ve received, but something unique about me is that I could snap my fingers when I was six months old (cross my heart – at least that’s what my mom claims) I also wanted to tell you how much I love your photography! You have a great artistic eye!”

That quilt is so cute, I am so envious! Congrats Wendy!
Congrats to Wendy, Lucky girl to be getting a quilt made by you!
This is so nice of you to give your time like this, hope Wendy treasures the quilt.
Last I heard, Wendy decided to come live at my place, so you can just send it here. 😉 Oh I’m just teasin’, but I wish I wasn’t!
I still stick to it- YOU are the nicest person I know. Thanks for being a part of this!
Congrats to Wendy! I had to come back over and comment because I finally registered and tried out the Moda fabricmatcher. I had been wondering if the new Patiesserie would coordinate with Fig & Plum and was happy to see that they do coordinate (along with Gypsy Rose). This helps me out a lot…since that is my biggest challenge…I live an hour away from the nearest quilt shops and do a lot of shopping on-line…when I do get to a shop, they don't always carry everything I'm interested in (in order for me to match colors). So this should help a lot…thanks!
Hi Lissa…I actually emailed Camille, and then the thought occurred to me…HELLO… I can always come leave another comment on your lovely blog…so THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I am so excited I can’t stand it! My email is shabbynest (at) yahoo (dot) com.
Thanks again. I’m still pinching myself!
OOHHH… that is the quilt I picked… are you sure the comment wasn’t from an Angela from Texas? Just kiddin. Congratulations, Wendy! You are one lucky girl!
Congratulations to Wendy and my goodness Lissa, what a generous girl you are, especilly with your busy schedule. I have to agree with Camille, you are one of the nicest people I know! Have a great time traveling!
Wow, 5 kids!! What an accomplishment. Thanks for taking time to share life with us.
