I’ve just discovered your blog and I’m so glad that I did. Not only are you a wonderful designer, but a terrific writer, too. Thank you for allowing us a peek into your quilting life. BTW…I attended my first quilt retreat ever just two weeks ago and know exactly what you mean about how much fun it is to be with friends. The quilting community is outstanding!

New fabrics and new toys. I’m the demo girl and I didn’t get to go. (visualize sad face) I love the sneak peaks my favorite designers are posting, but …. c’mon Lissa, we all want to see French General, 3 Sisters, etc. New precuts from Moda…
Tell us EVERYTHING…and I think MODA should have some type of contest where the winner gets to go to a MARKET and not have to be a shop keeper. Oh, that would be WAY TOO COOL! My LQS owner is going and I can’t wait till she get s back. I’m teaching a class early next week, so will go early to hear and see her reports!

Kathy — that is a terrific idea. The winner could then provide either live feeds or her (or OKAY — his ) own blog. Or there could be two winners and a contest to see who could sell the most fabric before imploding….then a contest to see who could BUY the most fabric……gee, I think there are a lot of qualified candidates!
